Can you convert a mechanical thermostat controller to a digital controller on above the door mounted units?
Above the door mounted thermostat controls can no longer be converted to digital controls.
After multiple attempts to do this it is always found that the moisture escaping the top of the doors kills the digital controllers in less than a year in most cases.
Because of this converting above the door mounted controls to digital controls is no longer supported.
